Hey there!

Been a while again since I last wrote a journal. Just thought I'd put you all up to speed on what's going on with me. Looks like I'm getting over my art slump. But mostly on the drawing side. I've been really enjoying drawing some random stuff and trying out new methods of improvement, and I think I found a good way to make decent sketchy paintings/concepts without it taking me 8-9 hours a piece, but only 2-3 hours.
So I will probably be uploading those works and hopefully you will enjoy them as much as you enjoy my photography. It's mostly gonna be character designs and concepts of alien species. I got a project for them and I need to make up at least 5 different alien species, excluding humans. With all the different, cool alien designs out there, it's hard to stay original and still create alien creatures that could also act as protagonists for a story, so the readers could relate to them. Having a cartoony style will be useful there. I tried to go all über-realistic, but it didn't really work, and was too damn taxing for having a mediocre result.
Anyway, it's getting late, so I'm gonna hit the sack and hopefully get to work on some of those sketches tomorrow. Stay tuned for more.
